The arts-whether they be during or after school- they provide
opportunities for youth from all backgrounds to do something positive with their talents and their time.
~Janet
Reno, Attorney General
We heard about it when we looked on the news with shock and fear about the Columbin High School shootings, we read in
newspapers how a teen gets arrested for possession of a weapon, and although the story may be fiction, we see how some teen
characters are portrayed as violent, and mean. We hear, see, and read about stories where juvenile delinquent stories are
the main feature, but we never seem to see how these kids, who are at-risk, are given solutions, creative solutions...........
This site is to help bring awareness to a problem that may have seem to have slowed down, but for how long? This site
is to help those of us in neighborhoods, communities, businesses, and even fellow teens, like myself who dont want to see
another fallen, injured, or dead child who will just be another top story in the news or cover story on front pages of newspapers,
just another number. The Arts has saved lives before, we can help it do it again.
